We are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic retail Sales Associates to join our team. JS-Collection is a collection of two stores located in Saugatuck, MI. We need to fill full time and part time as well as summer help (May thru Sept) positions. Please specify which location you are interested in on your application.

Responsibilities

· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

· Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features

· Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries

· “Go the extra mile” to drive sales

· Restock items as needed

· Make sure daily tasks are done

· Actively seek out customers in store

· Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options

· Process POS (point of sale) purchases

· Cross sell products

· Handle returns of merchandise

· Work with co-workers to ensure proper customer service

· Build productive trust relationships with customers

· Comply with inventory control procedures

· Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

· follow store policies (dress code, time off, etc.) as directed by management

Sales Associate wish list

· Experience in retail a plus, not a requirement

· Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

· Basic Math skills

· Solid communication and interpersonal skills

· A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus

· Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner

· Availability to work flexible shifts, must be available nights and weekends
